What we do
Created in 1975 by Resolution of the Travis County Commissioner's Court, the Housing Authority of Travis County (HATC) provides safe, decent, and sanitary housing for low-income families in Travis County.
At HATC, our primary goal is to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for low-income families in our community. We achieve this by administering a range of programs and services designed to support families in their pursuit of stable housing and self-sufficiency.

The Housing Authority of Travis County is committed to transforming the community by increasing the supply of affordable housing through partnerships with its subsidiaries and other organizations.
Travis County Facilities Corporation →
TCFC is dedicated to providing affordable public facilities to the community. Through its partnership with developers, TCFC executes Public Facility Corporation (PFC) deals that set aside at least 50% of units for low-income residents.
Travis County Development Corporation →
TCDC is a non-profit organization that strives to improve the living conditions of low-income families by providing affordable and decent housing options.
